| This site is dedicated to my love of Strawberry Shortcake! Here you'll find information and pictures of dolls and items in my collection. You'll also be able to take a look around my Strawberry Shortcake room and by browsing through "Strawberry Shortcake Lane" just reminisce about why we all fell in love with the little red haired girl who refuses to grow up! Strawberry Shortcake first came onto the scene in 1979, appearing on greeting cards for American Greetings. Kenner began producing and distributing dolls and toys from 1979 to the mid 1980's. Strawberry Shortcake was an immediate hit with children and parents as the dolls had cute smiling faces and adorable pets, all brilliantly named after fruits and desserts! Not to mention, the dolls were also scented to smell like their name! The Strawberry Shortcake character was so popular that there was a large variety of items produced from dolls and playsets to mugs and the kitchen sink...well, a child sized one that is! There are a lot of pictures to see so please be patient as they load :D Enjoy the site and please visit often as I will be updating frequently! |
