| In 1991 a company called Toy Headquarters (THQ) revived Strawberry Shortcake by making nine dolls and a variety of other items! However, these dolls did not look like the originals so their popularity was short-lived. Some of the differences were they have bigger eyes, different hair styles and eyebrows (which the original dolls lacked). |

| To the left is a Strawberry Shortcake Berry Best Party doll. The special thing about this doll is that she is in an actual box and not on a card like the other 1991 Strawberry Shortcake dolls above. Also, she does not come with a stage, paper doll or extra outfit. |
