| In 2002 Bandai started releasing their version of Strawberry Shortcake dolls and toys. The dolls had a more modern look to them. Although I wasn't crazy about them at first, I only collected some dolls...mainly first issues, new characters, and harder to find dolls. A lot of new characters were released as dolls including Rainbow Sherbet, Ginger Snap, Coco Calypso, and Seaberry Delight.
