| This is an actual Strawberry Shortcake doll and not a custom. It is a vinyl head Strawberry Shortcake Party Pleaser doll. She measures approximately 16.5" tall (or 42cm) and has a vinyl body with arms and legs that move.. Her hat is still factory attached, she's got on green and white stripey stockings and although she is in terrific condition, she is missing her shoes. This is the first time I've seen a doll like this and it makes me wonder about what else is out there in the world of Strawberry Shortcake that we don't know about?!! | I wanted to show these pictures because it makes the doll even more interesting! As you can see, she is a battery operated doll that can sing when you push the button on her tummy. Her chest is where all the sound comes out and at the back there is a battery compartment as well as a compartment for a little disc. There is also a tuner to adjust to "slow" and "fast". Unfortunately I don't have any batteries to test out to see what kind of audio is on the disc or if it even works. There is also a marking that says "Made in Japan". |
